What's new & Downloads for V7.5

Robotmaster V7.5 is now available!

Powerful offline robot programming software made even simpler and more efficient.

Robotmaster® V7.5 offers significant improvements in the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), robotic program macro management, CAM, and much more. In addition, it introduces one of the most wanted and asked features: new material removal simulation capabilities. V7.5 is now available for download and review. In the What’s New list below, you can find all the new features, improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes. Detailed video explanations and sample files can be found in the What’s New PowerPoint.

What's new in Robotmaster® V7.5

New V7.5 Tutorials

Robotmaster® V7.5 includes new tutorial packages with step-by-step videos and sample files for:

  • Material Removal
  • Macro Manager
Material Removal

Robotmaster® V7.5 has now included the ability to simulate and analyze the material removal process directly inside of RISE (Robotmaster Interactive Simulation Environment). This will allow the user to better validate their robotic application, allowing for collision checking between the stock and part being cut, while also considering the influence of external axes in the removal process.

Some of the included features are:

  • Material removal in RISE
  • Analysis tools
  • Automatic or manual chip removal
  • Dynamic collision checking
  • Collision point list update
  • Material removal for cutting tools
Macro Manager

In robotic programming, we often find repetitive operations programmed once with the robot’s teach pendant outside of the offline programming software (e.g., PLC commands, macro commands, or process specifics like torch cleaning routines in welding).

The Macro Manager will empower the user to manage these robot programming needs and behaviors in-between operations. Some of the included functionalities are:

  • Enhancements to the macro creation directly in the simulator
  • Insert macros easily in between operations
  • Use transitions with macros
CAM Improvements

Customer-driven enhancements have been incorporated in the CAM modules, which include:

  • New presets management
  • The operation last used settings
  • Improvements in the Swarf Toolpath module
UX/UI Improvements

The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements enhance Robotmaster to improve user programming efficiency and experience.

  • New tab system
    • The old sub-menu system has been replaced by a much more performant and effective tab system. Now the user can move in between menus seamlessly without going too deep into the programming settings, reducing the number of interactions by up to 70%!
  • Operation-focused mode
    • The new Operation-focused mode will reduce programming time by consolidating the tools and workflows required to obtain an error-free operation into a single environment. Some of the improvements include:
      • Calculation at the operation level
      • Orientation helper
      • Viewport interactions
  • Operation-level defaults
    • Robotmaster V7.5 allows users to set Operation-level parameters as defaults and be loaded automatically, improving the user experience and programming efficiency.
Other Improvements

To provide a better end-user experience, improvements have been made in the following areas:

  • Task to device operation reordering
  • Keep programs collapsed on device tree
  • Imported operation multi-tool assignment
  • Tool duplication in the tool manager
  • Tool library load management
  • Point list collapse
  • Transition list feedback
  • Spray coverage mode automated opacity
